The story revolves around lifelong friends Ibrahim and Abd Elnaeem, who relocate from northern Egypt to Cairo to work as construction workers. They share a small room and split the rent with a new roommate named Saleh, who seeks their friendship. However, tensions arise when Ibrahim and Abd Elnaeem become embroiled in payment disputes, which quickly escalate. In a sudden turn of events, Ibrahim ends up killing his old companion.

Overwhelmed by the violent act, Saleh decides to leave the apartment, leaving Ibrahim alone. Tormented by guilt and haunted by his actions, Ibrahim starts experiencing sinister hallucinations, believing that Abd Elnaeem is still present in the confined room.
